Who We Are

Rehoboth Ethiopian and Eritrean Church is a growing body of believers under the authority of Jesus Christ, in Northeast Ohio.  We are a bible believing and teaching church that come together to fellowship, study and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ within the local Ethiopian and Eritrean community while offering our hand of fellowship to the larger body of Christians locally.

What We Believe

1. We believe that the Holy Bible is the word of God.

A) We believe in the daily teaching, discipleship/nurturing, and application of God’s word to all members of our fellowship.  We believe in edification/instruction to all our fellowship so as to provide our ministry as holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27) as we bring the Gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ to the world.

B) We believe that the word of God is to be spread to all homes, cities, and nations as Jesus commanded in His ‘Great Commission’ (Matthew 28: 16-20).

 2. We believe that Salvation is offered through Jesus Christ alone to all who sincerely believe in His name and confess that He is Lord.  We believe that Jesus is the son of God, is one with God and The Holy Spirit, and that He died for our sins and rose from the dead to offer eternal life to all who believe in Him.

 3. We believe in the God given gifts and ministries of The Holy Spirit.  We believe that God has imparted these gifts on his children for the furtherance of His kingdom. 

 4. We strongly believe in the power of prayer, the communication that a person has directly to God through Jesus Christ (John 14: 13-14) for working through daily life and changing situations in the spiritual realm for the glory of God.

 5. We know that Jesus is coming back and we are preparing all of those around us for His return!

ራእይ፡ ቅድስትና ያለነውር በምትሆን ቤተክርስቲያን ራሳችንን ለክርስቶስ ማዝጋጀት (ኤፌ 5:27)

ዓላማ ፡ ቤተክርስጥያን የተፈጠርችበና የተጠራችበትን ዓላማ በመረዳት እና ራሷን በክርስቶስ ውስጥ በመግለጥ፡

1)    ወንጌልን ለፍጥረት ሁሉ በመስበክ ለክርስቶስ ደቀመዛሙርትን ማፍራት፤ በዚህም መሰረት የሮህቦት ቤተክርስቲያ አስቀድሞ በአካባቢያችን ለሚኖሩ ኢትዮጵያዊያን እና ኤርትራውያን፤ ከዚያም በዙርያችን ለሚኖሩ የሰው ልጆች ሁሉ ውንጌልን መስበክ

2)   ምዕመናንን በእግዚያብሄር ቃል እንዲሁም በእግዚያብሄ መንፈስ ማንጽ፤ ማሳደግ፤ ለውጤታማ ደቀመዝሙርነት ማዘጋጀት

3)   የጨለማውን ዓለም አሰራርና የሰይጣንን ስራ በማፈራረስ የእግዚያብሄርን መንግስት ማስፋፋት

4)   እግዚአብሄርን በመንፈስና በእውነት  እለት እለት ማምለክ

ግብ ፡ የመከሩ ጌታ የሆነው እግዚአብሄር በሚያሰማራን ቦታ ሁሉ በመሰማራት፤ በጌታ እየሱስ ያመኑትነን እና የተቀበሉትን እንደ እግዚያብሄር ቤተሰብ በመከታተል እና በመንከባከብ አብሮ የእግዚያብሄር መንግስት ወራሽ መሆን። በዚህም መሰረት ከጎረቤቶቻችን እና ከቤተሰቦቻችን በመጀመር የክርስቶስን ወንገል በከተማችን በግዛታችን እንዲሁም በምንኖርበት አገራችን እስክ ምድር ዳርቻ ድረስ መስበክ።
